The C14 committee would like to announce 2 more bands have been added to our lineup!

Fiction 8
http://www.fiction8.com

Fiction 8 offers songs that are at once both visceral and catchy. Their beats pound hard enough to keep even the most fickle dancefloor moving, while their lyrical hooks are sharp enough to torment listeners for days. And through all of this, Fiction 8 retains a suffering edge that is reminiscent of Depeche Mode or The Smiths. Perhaps it is because of these ingredients that Fiction 8 has managed to quietly attract such a large and diverse following. Their music is immediately familiar, yet strangely fresh and contemporary. Band members Michael Smith, Steven Hart, and Mardi 'paisli' Salazar work together to combine a creative and unique sound that is distinctly Fiction 8.

Missile Command
http://www.missile-command.net

Missile Command consists of two core members, Andrew Lent and Jim Maynard, who hail from a plethora of musical influences. This synth based outfit got its start in 2003 with the idea of creating a new voice in the oft underrated electronic music scene. Starting slowly to ensure that they could work well together, they began by lending their production and remixing talents to other local artists. Finding that the partnership was to their satisfaction, they went about creating music with the idea that boundaries would only be observed when they went beyond the realm of what sounds good. By adding the talents of several local vocalists, Adam Boose, Dawn Mitchell, and Lori Rogers, they rounded out what is now Missile Command.
