Primarily a goth/industrial DJ with a healthy dose of 80s and electro, DJ Spider has spun a variety of formats over the years, which means anything is bound to show up in her sets, described as "vibrant", "surprising", "kick-ass", and "Omigod, is she really that tall?"

With over 18 years of experience between radio and club work, it could be said that she's done it all. Now based in Charlotte, NC, her reputation as a both a DJ and an entertainer has been highly rated, as is her commitment to maintaining a Drama-Free Zone. She has opened for the Cruxshadows, the Last Dance, Voltaire, Anders Manga, and many more.

Recent DJ tours have had her appearing across the country, including recurring appearances across the Midwest, the Eccentrik Festival in Raleigh, Alchemy in DC, Dracula's Ball in Philadelphia, and her home away from home, Atlanta. She is also a former resident DJ for the fetish event Purgatory and at Retroactive Thursdays at the Breakfast Club, a weekly tribute to new wave and dark classics of the 80s.

She currently holds a residency in Charlotte at the monthly Return of the Bats. She was honored to be voted "Charlotte's Best Party DJ" in 2006 and 2007 by the Creative Loafing weekly, and has been interviewed by a number of online 'zines. But despite it all, she still has a list of things she'd like to do before she hangs up her headphones, and is thrilled to finally be a part of Convergence.

And, yes, she really is that tall.
