DJ Sexbat
Sexbat is from London, the proper one, in England. He has met the Queen; twice! The second time he pulled out into the middle of her motorcade with the roof of his car down playing "God Save the Queen" by the Sex Pistols.
This kind of sums up his DJ'ing really; whilst he has been known to beatmatch, he has also been known to stand on the decks playing the kazoo whilst one record plays out and then get his boot laces tangled up trying to get down to mix in the next track.
When you see him at C14 he will be very jetlagged. You should do everything you can to keep him awake. He has been awake since 1979 and there is an obscure sect in the mountains who believe that if he falls asleep then the world will end. They stand outside his windows at night and practice the trombone. He has been DJing for twenty years and really ought to be good at it by now.
Sexbat is the resident DJ at the Whitby Gothic Weekend Festival, co-ran the wildly eclectic and slightly deranged B-Movie Club in London for five years, and has played everywhere from Slimelight in London to the Gothic Pogo party in Leipzig, His previous Convergence Credits include, New Orleans, New York, Montreal and Las Vegas.
